x + 3y = 32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you want to do with this equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oops, just realized half of it was missing... need to solve the system of equations for: x + 3y = 32 -3x + 2y = 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply the top equation by 3 then just subtract you will end up with what y is equal to so to get x just plug y back into one of the equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean add not subtract

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! It makes complete sense now and I figured out that x = 5 and y = 9....you helped me immensely!!

welcome! ;)
