I learnt that the brain gets rather WAAAYYY active at night when we're ASLEEP than in the day when we're awake. We see the benefit of this when we try to solve difficult math questions and fail, go to bed and we can suddenly solve it like 1+1 when we wake up. What I do wonder though is that, to become "smarter" in math, can one decide to study quite complex mathematical explanations, theories, laws or whatever JUST before sleeping in order to achieve that? is that how it works? is it possible?
I want to know how true this is, cos I wanna try it out
That varies from person to person
yea i agree..
but its a good question!
try leaving your computer on at night to read mathematical formulas and theorems using text to speech as you sleep. Or just run a khan's academy playlist running in the background when you sleep. Then check the next day if you improved in that area :)
ha! sounds awesome
Meditation might help too - but you need to ask the gurus about that. :)
this question refers to smart ppl, sorry cant comment
hey if u do keep something talking to you all night you wouldn't go into as deep of sleep as u should because your brain is still trying to listen and will remain active so then you would be tired in the morning --i dont recommend you do that be4 a test or something really important! :)
hahd its not referring to smart ppl, it's referring to someone who wants to become smart or intelligent... or if you think you're already any of the two, it refers to improving on it.
