Jesus Christ I assume? Well the myth of Jesus the Savoir can date back its influences to the Egyptians with their own demi-god (god in human form): Horus. Horus, shares a lot of similarities to Jesus. For one he is the son of the main god, Osiris; he rose from the dead, healed the sick, had disciples, was born of a virgin birth, died on the cross, was a carpenter, and was to be killed by a vicious king by his birth. Research Horus a little bit, I'm pretty sure you'll be surprised by the level of similarities between the two.

Well, actually, Christmas is definitely not when Jesus was born... Its existence as a holiday was basically the church's way of combating the Winter Solstice- people didn't want to give up a celebration, so the Catholics compromised and made it the day to proclaim Jesus's birth. That's why we have the Christmas tree, which was very important to the pagans of the time. According to contextual clues given in the Bible, scholars say he was most likely born sometime in mid-spring.
