Determine the truth value of the following statement: Leonhard Euler was a famous mathematician and all prime numbers are divisible by 4. True False I am soooooooooo confused on this problem and its probably easy as heck...
i cant wait til my college math class is OVER with! lmao
Key word here is "and" Leonhard Euler was a famous mathematician is true BUT, all prime numbers are divisible by 4 is false So they BOTH need to be true for the statement to be true So the overall statement is false.
see i told u it was so easy.... lmao. . god i feel DUMB!
break it up into two predicates. \[p: \text{Leonhard Euler was a famous mathematician}\]\[q:\text{ All prime numbers are divisible by 4 }\] Now your sentence is equivalent to \(p \wedge q\) , p AND q. Now, one of those is true p, but q is false. So the statement p ^ q is therefore false
don't be, you're probably over complicating it because that's what math loves to do to people lol
lol
See my explanation for example! Lots of overcomplicatedness!
looks like your having fun with this jerk polpak... lol
yea i just look at the problems i get and say "oh S*it... lol and wanna cry!
Hrm? You mean Kush? Nah. I'm done dealing with that.
ok back to my math problems.. i'm sure i will be back.. lol thank you both :)
