ok , do cross multiplication here :
(x-3)(x+2)=(x+5)(x+4)
\[x^2-3x+2x-6\] = \[x^2 + 5x +4x+20\]
\[x^2-x^2-x-9x=20+6\]
\[-10x=26\]
\[x=-26/10\]
\[x=-13/5\]
