First off your y-intercept is 2. Your graph has a y-intercept of -4. Next off you function has a slope of -1/2 and your graph has a slope of 0. First off start at the point (0,2) -- that is x=0, y=2 that is a point that is on your line. Next we know that a slope is the same as y/x since our slope is -1/2 or 1/-2 we can say that go down one and to the right 2 will be another point or going up one and to the left 2 is another point.
