what is the median,mode,mean for 23 12 11 1 23

OpenStudy (amistre64):

its not so much a sense of giving an answer as much as knowing what the terms means; mode is number (or numbers) used most often median is the number that is in the middle of the pack, so sort them high to low, or low to high and find the number in the middle mean is just adding them all up and dividing by .. let see, there is 5 of them, so divide the sum by 5

OpenStudy (amistre64):

nice to see that the carriage return isnt formatting yet ...

is really easy too find out if you know how to ill tell you the defination of theese so you can figure it out Mode: the number that appers the most Median: the middle number(you have to put the numbers in order and see which is the middle number and if there 2 you have to add them and divide the total by 2) and the mean is when you add ALL the numders and divde it by the amount of numders their are so 23+23+12+11+1=64 so 64\[\div\]5=12.8 *theirs not always a mode

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[64\div5=12.8\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the division for the mean :P
