OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sure someone is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good enough i guess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

graphs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what's the case?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did very well in geometry

hero (hero):

Post it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. AB: y=12+1, C(0,3) write an equation for the ;ine parallel to AB that contains point C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=12x+3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see now i wish i was that good, this is my first year in geo.

you have to do with lines. Straight lines. And with points. Points A(x,y). Straight lines are of the form y=ax+b. The plus b stuff shows how upper or lower is the line from another parallel line. the a stuff shows the inclination of the line. For the lines to be parallel you need to have ax the same, and for the up-down stuff you use +b. So in order for the line to cross point C, you need y=12x+b. However for C, x=0 and y=3. so you end up getting 3=12*0+b. so b=3. So the new equation is y=12x+3

hope u get it o.O

your really good at this. now to get an actual tutor :) but im still not understand it
