Celina is buying fabric scraps to make koozies for her glasses. Each glass is cylindrical with a diameter of 3 inches and a height of 4 inches. The koozies will cover only the sides of the glasses. What is the amount of fabric she will use? What does this amount represent? Use 3.14 for pi. Show your work.
i'd help but i don't know what koozies are

i thought glasses were eyeglasses. Wait a bit
k
so the glass is a cylinder. You want to cover the sides area. Area of the side is 2*pi*r*h. Diameter equals to 2r, so r is 1.5 inches. therefore if you plug the numbers in you get 37.68
square inches
i think they are called "cozies"
whatever. i'm greek
haha Thanks just got the answer for my math test XD
