A is a subset of B IF every element of A is also an element of B. For example:

\[A = \{a,c,f\}, B = \{a,b,c,d,e,f\}\]\[\implies A \subseteq B\] A is a subset of B

if you understand the greater than ">" and less than ">" symbols, a subset follows the same logic
