I'm learning python. I've done some research and most will agree that it is basic enough to learn quickly so that you can get your foot in the door. It can also be quite complicated, of course, but you can get a good grasp of it quickly. I want to take on C++ next.

If you want to learn a language that is going to help you when working, learn C# or java for windows applications. Learn asp.net or php for web applications
