solve with explanation, possibly work showing?!? 15x=2x^2+16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x^2-15x+16=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cant be factored in my opinion hence use (-b+/-sqrt(b^2-4ac))/2a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=6.2, 1.8

hero (hero):

It can be factored by other methods

hero (hero):

Shining Star already knows this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, but it's such a pain lol

hero (hero):

Not if you're me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly

hero (hero):

I hate the quad formula. It disgusts me. I welcome the seemingly more difficult methods. They're easier to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HEHE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just have no confidence when it comes to this stuff, it frustrates me

hero (hero):

I understand what you mean.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I only have this problem and the other one I posted left for this week Next week is going to be rough though

hero (hero):

Hmm. Somehow, you'll get through it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I hope so, it's another crazy three assignment, one quiz week, plus whatever I have to do in my other class

hero (hero):

You've made it this far.....You're at the point where you can see the light on the other side of the tunnel.

hero (hero):

The closer one gets to the mountain top, the harder it gets, but also, the more motivated one is to finish.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, only 2 more weeks, next week then... ugh... finals

hero (hero):

Finals, as in it will finally be over after that. LOL
