how to give a definition of nth harmonic ? :/ i know what it is, but how to write it in examination

The harmonic series is 1 +1/2 +1/3 +1/4... +1/n

Your nth harmonic is just the nth term of the series.

Nth harmonic is that frequency for which a system seems to be resonance with for nth time from its fundamental or lowest possiible resonating frequency
