Here's the PDF

1) The product of (a − b)(a − b) is a2 − b2. - Never unless a and b were 0. 2)Find the product of (x − 5)^2. - x^2- 10x + 25 3) Find the product of (x + 3)^2. - x^2 + 6x + 9

4) Find the product of (x + 3)(x − 3). - x^2 - 9 5)Find the product of (3x − 7y)^2. - 9x^2- 42xy + 49y^2 6) Find the product of (4x + 3y)2. - 16x^2 + 24xy + 9y^2 7) Find the product of (2x + 5y)(2x − 5y). - 4x^2 - 25 y^2

8) Find the two products below. Compare and contrast, in complete sentences, the similarities and differences of the two. (x + 6)(x − 6) and (x − 6)(x − 6) One is a difference of squares (x+6)(x-6) whereas (x-6)(x-6) is not. When expanded the difference of squares second term is elimintated and equals x^2- 36 wheile the other one expands into x^2 - 12x + 36

You just need more practise on expanding these polynomials. If it helps, you should write it out the long way and use FOIL to expand it. ex) (x + 4) (x -2) = x^2 - 2x + 4x -8 = x^2 + 2x - 8 Try not to skip steps when your first learn this. After lots of practise you can basically expand it in your head. Goodluck! :D
