8z=8z+4 0=4 there r no solutions
8z=4(2z+1) ... Start with the given equation. 8z=8z+4 ... Distribute. 8z-8z=4 ... Subtract 8z from both sides. 0z=4 ... Combine like terms on the left side. 0=4 ... Simplify. Since this equation is never true for any z value, this means that there are no solutions.
