Need help with graphing calculator: (i'm really bad with it) use a graphing utility to find the points of intersection of the graphs. check your results analytically. y=-|2x-3|+6 y=6-x

OpenStudy (bme89):

It may depend on what type of calculator you have, but with mine (TI-83 Plus), you use y= to enter equations, the absolute value option is found by pressing the MATH button. You can find the intersection points by (when looking at the graph) pressing 2nd TRACE to open the CALC options, then select intersect. Select a point on both curves, then a point close to the intersection.
