Timmy and Jerod are eating cupcakes. If they each can eat two cupcakes in 3 minutes, how long will it take the two of them to eat 18 cupcakes? EXPLAIN

cross multiply
x=(18*3)/2=27 minutes

Maybe I am reading it wrong

each can eat 2 in 3 minutes
so 4 in 3 minutes or
16 in 12 minutes
plus another 2 in 1 and a half minutes is

13 and a half minutes.
