For the following function, find the vertex, the axis of symmetry, and the x- and y-intercepts of the graph. f(x)=x^2-10x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

vertex is \[-\frac{b}{2a}=\frac{10}{2}=5\] for the first coordinate second coordinate is -25 , what you get when you replace x by -5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hold on, I'm confused. I thought I needed an ordered pair for the vertex..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and i made a mistake. axis of symmetry is x - 5 vertex is (5,-25)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhhhh.... duh, I'm low on sleep. sry
