I need help graphing this: f(x)=-x^2=4x-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do I find the ordered pairs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me make sure I've got it right....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

shoot sorry, here it is: f(x)=-x^2+4x-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right, so then simply factor this guy. You should get -(x-2)^2, which baiscally means that you have a vertex (in this case a maximum) at (2,0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now, if you want more points, what you need to do, is pick convient x values, and input the into this function and see what y value comes out. Then graph it
