w^2-11w+18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

factor: (w-9)(w-2) solve: w=9 or w=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

w^2 -9w-2w+18 w(w-9)-2(w-9) (w-2)(w-9)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No solving business here. Just factor..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(w-9)(w-2) so then w=9 and 2

You will solve the problem only when there is an EQUAL TO is given for the problem..

r^2+4r-21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r^2+4r-21

marie lovee.. post this problem as a new question please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

heres a trick. if theres no coeff in front of the x^2, for ex in x^2+4x-21 and look at the last term list factors of 21. in this case 7 and -3. (x-3)(x+7)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so x=3 and -7
