Regarding limits, what is the difference between finding the horizontal asymptote and finding the end model behavior?

Okay, that is what I thought, but the answer in my textbook tells me differently x___x
For example, for
\[f(x) = \left(\begin{matrix}4x ^{3}-2x+1 \\ x-2\end{matrix}\right)\]
There would be no horizontal asymptote, but the model end behavior would be \[4x ^{2}\]
