y(-3/4)x+5 Need help with steps please help me solve for Y and X intercept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you mean y=(-3/4)x+5? And for x-intercept, substitute 0 for y, and for y-intercept, substitute 0 for x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I try it but i think i'm getting it wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y intercept is 5 x intercept is 20/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o.k i got that but im having problems graphing 20/3 fraction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

20/3 = 6 + (2/3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

20/3 is 6.6666 put it in between 6 and 7 roughly half way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that should fly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh...o.k. thanks.
