solve for y , 2x+7y=14 please and thanks!:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

move the 2x over and divide each term by 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idid , then i got 14-2x/7 but i dont know what to do after that:/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

great job! but split each one up individually by dividing by 7 resulting in y= -2/7 x +2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

14 divided by 7 gives us +2 but -2/7 has to stay as a fraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay i get it now:D thanks alot !!!
