Mood: the overlying feelings to a piece of writing as a whole Can you help me make or find an example for this word meaning this definition?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well what exactly are you looking to do. Do you want to write something and suggest the mood of it? or write something about mood itself?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need to write something about the mood itself i guess.

Well just like the definition says, it's how something makes you feel. It's the effect that it has on you. A story about a child taking their first steps would invite the mood of accomplishment or happiness while a poem about a girl's grandmother dying would reflect the mood of sadness or grieving.

oh, thank you. :)
