What type of correlation would you expect from a scatterplot of number of games played versus average hits per game?

You would expect a perfect correlation (every game he hits 10 balls for example), and every game you can expect 10.

I don't think that's very realistic though. I would say depending on the game you are playing, it could be anywhere from no correlation to strong.

Softball would probably have a strong correlation, whereas tennis may have no correlation.
