a sample has a specific volume of 5.2 (m^3)(1/kg) and a molar volume of 1160 (m^3)(kg*1/mol) determine the molecular weight of the material

It seems you have a [kg] to much in your units. In any case dividing molar volume by specific volume should leave you with [kg/mol], the molecular weight is then obtained by multiplying with Avogadros number (Na). Wiki it if necesary.
