I need help with Adding Radicals
Write the question.
can't really read that. Is that 6x in the 2nd square root? and can't see the 3rd one
this... \[2\sqrt{24x}+3\sqrt{6x}-2\sqrt{54x}\]?
yes
sorry about that! writing!
\[\sqrt{6x}\] is the answer.
Awww kk thank u!!
\[2\sqrt{24x}+3\sqrt{6x}-2\sqrt{54x}\] \[=2\sqrt{4\times6 x}+3\sqrt{6x}-2\sqrt{9\times6x}\] \[=2\times2\sqrt{6 x}+3\sqrt{6x}-2\times3\sqrt{6x}\] \[=4\sqrt{6 x}+3\sqrt{6x}-6\sqrt{6x}\] \[=(4+3-6)\sqrt{6 x}=\sqrt{6x}\]
Awww kk thank u!!
AWWWW thank u!!
Awww kk thank u!!
okay i have other one kind of the same
Awww kk thank u!!
Awww kk thank u!!
Awww kk thank u!!
Awww kk thank u!!
is it? 11 root 7?
\[6\sqrt{7}+7\sqrt{7}-2\sqrt{7}=(6+7-2)\sqrt{7}=11\sqrt{7}\]
Awww kk thank u!!
\[6\sqrt{7} +7\sqrt{7} - 2\sqrt{7} would the Anwser be 11\sqrt{7}?\]
if you want text while in math mode use the \text command then you would get \[6\sqrt{7} +7\sqrt{7} - 2\sqrt{7}\text{ would the Anwser be }11\sqrt{7}\text{ ?}\]
from my work above you are correct
\[10\sqrt{7} - 15\sqrt{2} + 2\sqrt{3}\] You can't add or subtract here because the numbers that are in the \[\sqrt{?}\] are all different.
