Is there any error in the sentence: "I don't know for sure yet but I will eventually call my sister tonight" sound strange?

The wording is awkward, it could be very simply stated, "I may call my sister tonight." Or "I am considering calling my sister this evening."

THe first part makes it sound like the jury is up over whether or not you will call your sister; the second part sounds like you will definetly call her sometime later. It's contradictiong :p
