I am having trouble grasping the difference between lbm and slug. I see that the slug is the BGs equivalent to SI's kg... so what is lbm?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Both measure the same thing, slug and Lbm (pound mass) are units for the same thing "mass". 1 slug is 32.17405 Lbm or 14.5939 Kg. Check: HTTP://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slug_(mass) Sincerely, whenever you can use metric system.
