OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2. I believe is the vertical line test

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6. Is increasing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and by 6 I mean 4. and by increasing I mean decreasing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't get 6 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8 is "Even" I think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes: Geometrically, the graph of an even function is symmetric with respect to the y-axis, meaning that its graph remains unchanged after reflection about the y-axis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6,4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, 6 i dont understand either. makes me want to cry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not sure - for number 6 - maybe the last word could be the "Secant" line ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the last part of 6 is secant but I'm not sure about the rest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

average rate of change?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"rise" "over" "the" "run" ? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6) increase decrease value x , linear?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have a list of vocabulary from which you are supposed to pick the words ? The below look reasonable - 6) The "average" "rate" "of" "change" between any two points .... is the slope of the line through the two points and this line is called the "secant" line. The "Rise" "Over" "The" "Run" between any two points .... is the slope of the line through the two points and this line is called the "secant" line.
