Give Reason : 1.Thorny shrubs survive in dry areas 2.Plants and animals are interdependent on each other 3.As the rainfall decreases ,size and density of vegetation decreases
1. Thorny shrubs survive in dry areas because the thorns prevent animals from eating them, allowing them to conserve more resources, allowing them to survive in areas where resources are limited (dry areas - water limited). 2. Animals depend on plants for food while (some) plants depend on animals for pollination, spread of seed etc. 3. As rainfall decreases so does resource availability and hence size and density of vegetation does too.
i need a biger ans. pls
TranceNova...those are all solid answers, well done. Gary Ahuja...Trance is giving you concise answers in regards to your questions. Tracenova qave a wonderful answer that was almost the answer Just to add info 1. thorny shrubs use theirs thorns as their storaqe for water at the same time as a defence from predators 2. there are some animals that almost depend on other plants because they can qet enerqy also if these animals are herbivorous, they must only depend on plants to survive because they cant rely on other animal easily. Furthermore , these is also we call a food chain .. 3.Because rainfall is the main source of food for plants in dry areas, veqetation decreases when rainfall doesnt occur for a while , makinq plants inavailable of makinq food.
