How do you solve: (2x-4) (x^2+3x-7) Please show step by step.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

\[\large (2x-4) (x^2+3x-7)\] \[\large 2x(x^2+3x-7)-4(x^2+3x-7)\] \[\large 2x(x^2)+2x(3x)+2x(-7)-4(x^2)-4(3x)-4(-7)\] \[\large 2x^3+6x^2-14x-4x^2-12x+28\] \[\large 2x^3+2x^2-26x+28\] So \[\large (2x-4) (x^2+3x-7)=2x^3+2x^2-26x+28\]
