how would i use the intercepts to graph the equation 7x-5y=35????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Intercepts: if x=0, then -5y=35 or y=-7 which gives the point (0,-7) if y=0, then 7x=35 or x=5 which gives the point (5, 0) You only need two points to graph a line. Plot the two intercepts and draw the line.

OpenStudy (phi):

If you know (0,y0) and (x0,0) you would plot them and then draw a line through both points

so let me get this my answer would b y= (0,7) and x= (5,0) right????

Here is the graph (attached)

The question was how would you use the points to graph. You would plot them as shown, and then draw the line through them.
