For the line: y= -3/4x+6 A. What is the slope of a line parallel to the given line? B. What is the slope of a line perpendicular to the given line? Please show how to solve step by step.

parallel: -3/4 perpendicular: 4/3. with parallel slopes, the slopes r gonna be the same. with perpendicular theyre opposite reciprocals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y= mx + b where m=slope and parallel lines have equal slopes. A perpendicular line has a slope which is the opposite reciprocal ( *-1 and flip the fraction)
