All depends on the kind of info that you're looking for. It's a open question format depending on the area in which you're looking for an answer. Some areas overlap, like Social Sciences and History, so as long as it's the general area that people will understand your question, ask away and people will either answer you directly or ask for clarification on the question you've asked. It's a great site for direct and obscure questions.
