how do i find the lim (X^2+3x) analytically? X->-3

OpenStudy (zarkon):

replace x by -3 in your expression

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i get lim =0 but when i graph the point -3 isnt at 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

instead the parabola is (-3,18)

OpenStudy (zarkon):

(-3)^2+3(-3)=9+-9=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i got that but as X aproaches -3, 0 isnt a y coordinate on the porabola.

OpenStudy (zarkon):

yes it is
