I still think you should make the groups clickable on the medals page. I know it wouldn't help people find groups they'd not used before, but it'd help get back to their groups without going through the home page every time. I also think it'd be better if you didn't get a new tab if you view your profile. It doesn't make any sense from the user's point of view; at least to me. Your profile page should be your starting point for using the site.

I'd still like an embeddable widget for posting on other sites, that shows an up-to-date overview of my achievements.

Also, to be clear, your profile, like all others, should show up first in the right pane. Only when you click `view detailed profile' should a new tab open.

Generally now, by habit, I'll click my name and then go straight to my existing tabs close button, so I'm only left with one tab open, at the page I'm navigating to. This is a classic case of bad design. You should have a look into it Shadowfiend, it shouldn't be too difficult to sort out. That said, it'd be way down my list of priorities.
