Hi ciaashish. The class is very informal. Basically, MIT puts the information out there for us to pick up and study on our own and at our own pace. This forum is a place where we come together to discuss the course, but there is no academic oversight, no grades, and no official credit.

So, if you're looking for a terrific way to better yourself informally, you've come to the right place. To answer your question succintly, you don't join...you just join in.
