In analysis of salt's anions we add dil or conc HCl or H2SO4 bcoz these anions displace the anions in the salt on which we perform tests, but if the cation of the salt is Cu or Ag (metals below H in reactivity series) then I dont think the anion would be displaced.. Then how do we do the tests for the anions?
