one trick may be to subtract out 6 and see if there is any pattern
6, 13,20,27,34 -6 -6 -6 -6 -6 -------------- 0, 7, 14, 21, 28 ; these are multiples of 8 right?

An = 6 + 7(n-1) ; if we start at A1 that is
n: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 A: 6 13 20 27 34 ? ? ? A(n) = 6 + 7(n-1) is a good set up i believe
