to find the average of something, you add the numbers given to you and then divide them by the amount of numbers given.
soooo 60 + 40 = 100
you are given two numbers (60 and 40) so divide 100 by 2

Yeah see that's what i got as well, but my teacher said that it wasnt the answer and the apparent answer is 48.
