Ernesto drives form his home to the library at a speed of 60 miles per hour. If he drives back home along the same route at 40 miles per hour, what is his average speed for the round trip? and how do you solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find the average of something, you add the numbers given to you and then divide them by the amount of numbers given. soooo 60 + 40 = 100 you are given two numbers (60 and 40) so divide 100 by 2 50mph is your ANSWERRRRR!!!!!!! :D
