I really want to go to a school for graphics and stuff. Like SCAD! However I don't think I have the right type of stuff. Like the kind of things that graphic designers need. Any suggestions on what I can do? Is there a way to get better? Or do I just give up hope?

Look around online for 'free' graphic programs/utilities. I'm pretty sure there are free publications also.  Don't give up. :)

Are you in high-school?  Start with the fundamentals like learning color theory.  Pick up Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.  Also Lynda.com can aid you in learning this software fairly rapidly.
