Factor i must re-write the trinommial as a polynomial with four terms. 6x^3-4X^2-10x does anyone have any idea?

hero (hero):

Why....It says "factor". I'm pretty sure all you have to do is just factor it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my directions states rewrite in a the trimomial as a polynomial with four terms. You got me. But that is what it says to do. That is why I am confused

hero (hero):

x(6x^2 - 4x - 10) x(6x^2 +6x + -10x + 10) x(6x(x+1)-10(x+1)) x((x+1)(6x-10))

hero (hero):

I'm pretty sure that's all you have to do. That is how you factor it.

ok I came up with that but it says something about the 4 terms so I was confused.

hero (hero):

x = 0, x = -1, x = 10/6 There's no way to write this using four terms

hero (hero):

Must be something wrong with your book

that is what I think Thanks for all you help
