OpenStudy (amistre64):

|dw:1315370031074:dw|

OpenStudy (amistre64):

any odd multiple of pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is for calc 3, but i seem to forget simple trig

OpenStudy (amistre64):

trig is alot of memory

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u solving for theta?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea, thats trig, but how do you get that? im doing trig and we havn't learned this yet so it might help me out

OpenStudy (amistre64):

trig are circle functions; and the unit circle goes around every 2pi

OpenStudy (amistre64):

so place the unit circle on the xy plane and use y=sin and cos=x for your guide

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats confusing, i;ll jsut wait til i learn it in class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you could, the question is to find the area of the region that lies inside the cardiod r=1+cos(theta) and the outside of the circle r=1
