Solve the system of equation algebraically (x+2)^2+(y-16)^2=1 y=-4x+8 i have part of it done, i just dont know how to use the quadratic formula to find the rest of it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In this i foiled the first set, and after pluging in -4x+8 as y, i foiled the second part of the first set. it comes to be 17x^2+68x+67=0. I dont know what to do after that.

OpenStudy (mimi_x3):

Well, im not sure though but if you want to use the quadratic formula for 17x^2 + 68x+67 , then a = 17 , b=68, c= 67 then substitute it to the quadratic formula. Not sure if I'm right though

after pluging it into the formula, i get {-1.76 and -2.24}, so are these x or y?
