ospreys and eagles compete for food. What effect might the competetion have on the eagle population

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that it? there should ususally be more to determine the effect on the competition

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The greater the success of the ospreys, the more the eagles are hurt by the competition (and vice versa).

I agree with mathemagician...but simply put, if the ospreys manage to get more food, it will take away from the eagles and hurt their population. If the eagles manage to get more food, then their competitors will have been weakened.
