My textbook says, "you spend $13.92 on fabric each yard costs $4.35. how many yards do u buy?" what do i do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since you spend $4.35 on each yard and you spent a total of $13.92, dividing 13.92 by 4.35 will tell you how many yards of fabric you bought.

you would just divide.. 13.92/4.35 to figure out how many yards.

Thanx. And i know i sound dumb im only in middle school. math just doesn't click with me.
