I am having real problems with this one. I conducted the scatter plot. Here is the problem
x/y
1,0.5
2,0.0
3,-0.5
4,-1.0
5,-1.5
What would be the slope of the regression line?
Would the correlation between x and y be positive or negative?
How would you interpret these data in terms of linear regression?
I am lost. I know the line is negative but i dont understand how to do it in a formula. HELP
