I have been trying to think of a topic, but first would like to ask a question...

Does this have to be specific to nursing or can this be a general invention that has had benefits to the nursing field?

I had an idea at one point in my life for disinfecting hospital rooms without the manual clean up. I am not sure if nurses still disinfect rooms or rely on a cleaning crew to do it...but, here goes.

You know the bug bombs you can set off inside of a room, a fogger of sorts? Imagine if you filled one of those with a disinfectant like Lysol. You would put it into a room a patient has just checked out of, after removing the cloth items like bedding or linens, and set off the Lysol fogger. The mist will cover all the surfaces, topside and bottom, disinfecting the room. Of course things might be a little damp in the room, but if the A/C is running or if there were some sort of airflow it would dry fairly quickly.

Disinfectant Room Fogger kills germs...dead!
