Map the route reproductive cells in men travel starting at the TESTES and continuing through the sexual anatomy until there is ejaculation out of the URETHRAL OPENING. Tell me the series of physical anatomy that are involved and summarize what they do as the sperm travels.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the penis becomes erect and blood flows through the penis, friction on the head gives a feeling of sexual pleasure and forces the testes to pump sperm throgh the penis and out the urethral opening. the sperm then swims to find an egg inside the cagina

Sperm starts in the seminiferous tubules (long winding tubes inside each of your testicles) where they then move out into the epididymis and they chill there (lol literally) until you decide to make love to your hand one lonely Saturday night because you probably have nothing better to do. From the epididymis, the sperm travel to and through the ductus (vas) deferens. When they reach the Ampulla, the sperm receive secretions first from the seminal vesicle and then from the prostate gland becoming semen. (seminal vesicle fluid and prostate fluid is alkaline so it neutralizes acid from any remaining urine in the urethra as well as neutralizing any acid in the vagina. Prostate fluid also helps with sperm motility.) The semen are then ejaculated from the urethra where they fight to the death to create the sad sad beings that inhabit this earth.
